Now that I got a rack to put my BB handgun in, its looking oddly empty with just a Crosman C11 in it, so I'm looking around for some interesting (and hopefully cheap!) BB/airgun handguns?
What do you recommend? I'm basically just using them for casual plinking and to introduce people to shooting. Defintely looking for something thats in .177 pellet or .177 BB.

Can;t go wrong with a Crosman 1377 or 1322.

Want a cool semi? Check out the Sig Sauer P226 X-Five CO2 blowback. Goes for around $150 and pretty fun gun.

Check out these: htt p://www.airgunsource.com/store/index.php?cpage=new

I like the 1377 (have had one for amost 27 years) and it still shoots. It's had it's seals re-done twice in that time. I like the ability to put a stock on it, makes it like a mini-carbine...but helps to steady it. The part# for that is 1399, lists for about $19

Really inexpensive, hits hard, no CO2 to buy..hard not to like it for the money. Crosman just re-released a .22 version (1322) and I plan on buying one.

I'd like to have a close look at one of those CO2 powered MP5 BB guns. They look like fun. They seem to vary greatly in price too so I don't know if there are actual differences or just gouging. WSS has the USP one listed online for $55 whereas several other sites list them for well over $100 ... ?? I'd like to have an M&P BB pistol as well.

I picked up a GSG-92 blowback BB pistol last year to practice for IDPA, basically a Beretta 92/Taurus 99 (has a rail underneath I had to file down to fit in my pancake holster). Even has Beretta-style mags that drop out and house the CO2. Slide blows back with every shot, it field strips exactly the same as my Beretta and the weight and trigger pull are close enough for practice to the real thing. Tons of fun, my kids love shooting that thing too.

Otherwise I gotta second the Crosman 357 - I've owned several, seal kits and parts are readily avalailable, price is right, just generally an all-round good gun.

A couple weeks ago I got my hands on a S&W M&P45 CO2 airgun. I'd recommend it. It pretty much feels like the real thing (including a heavy DA trigger), is decently accurate, fires both pellets and BB's, and is inexpensive to boot - I got mine for $65 from airgunsource.

Just got an H&K USP from airgunsource. nice pistol. has a nice heavy feel to it even though it has a poly body, all the internals are metal. heavy DA trigger but it has a consistent break. Very accurate up to 15ft (haven't shot any further to paper) and it hits trees at 50yds. Holds 22 bb's and you can easily get 200 shots off before changing cartridges. cost me less than $80 shipped to my door.

To the OP:

What style of gun are you looking for? Are you more concerned with accuracy or real-steel replica features(ie replica of real steel firearm, blowback action, field stripping, etc).

I grabbed a Daisy 5501 from Princess Auto (replica of the Taurus Millennium pro) for about $60 a little while back. For the price, I don't regret it. It has a nice heft to it.

If you don't mind automatic Bb guns, a Steel Storm is a good choice. It is accurate, fun to shoot, and has a selector switch from 1 to six shot bursts. It's really accurate in burst mode as well, and can shoot tight groups, due to it's 20 inch barrel. It takes 2 Co2 cartriges, and gets over 100 rd. per fill.

I have one of the little PPK BB CO2 pistols. Neat little gun. Packs a good punch, slide blows back. Still needs to be broken in. Nice weight.

Just picked up a (Cybergun) Sig X-Five P226 Open from Princess Auto for $53 taxes in! They're clearing them out and are only available in store as they're sold out online. Pretty good price considering they were selling at about $119. Pretty decent all metal bb pistol for the sale price. Anyone in the Lower Mainland (BC) - they had 11 of them this morning after I picked mine up.

Cheers,
hsld.
