Thanks! Normal front sight, just a different parkerizing job on it, or so it seems.

Is there a source for 6.5x55 Garand barrels in Canada?

Only gun out of my collection I truly consider to be mine is my .308 Garand I built up from a Beretta(/Danish) receiver. Bonus point for having built it within the hometown of Jean Garand himself.
Even still got the chamber reamer and go-no-go gauges (no actual action vise, all done hodgepodge). I don't plan to build another but I never know.
