Some great spring bears

Shot these 4 the past week or so guiding with my hounds. These are some really nice bears, Alot of action with 11 total bears treed and a number of grizzly run ins. These clients where loving life.
The last two where taken by a couple of Norwegians looking for their first bears.

Same for cougar, lynx and bear that is correct

Yeah thought I recognized the dog in pic #1 on the far right as being in several of your Cougar shots from before. So what do you your foreign clients do with the Bears? Can they take any meat home with them or is it impossible due to customs?

The clients typically leave the meat as these old boars are terrible eating. Two of the four fed on salmon rvers last year and they still stunk. If the meat is processed and frozen the meat can be taken to the USA.

I usually measure on the body as it is more accurate. Most bear camps bs the clients by stretching the hide. On the body never lies. The largest was 6'11 on the body.

I enjoyed your cougar thread as well. Great dogs you have their. I guess we all cannot have a good job like yours. I am sure it was a lot of work to train the dogs.

when you live in a remote area like i do you have to have more then one job to feed the family. The job you witness is the fun one thats foresure.
