Set aside like two hours and lots of rags and probably some kind of solvent.

Something like that. Imagine a rifle covered in year old honey or axle grease. Something like that.
Degreasing the parts is essential for safe function due to the free floating fire-pin. Full strip is required. Re: the tags for advice or YouTube.

The bigger question is how much, a dish washer makes short work of cleaning the grease off, but best to use a couple of rags first.

If you don't know why, then you probably aren't the customer for these! Very special! You may notice the flash suppressor/ extra sights, different gas system and on and on! In as new condition they are worth $800. If refurbed or gently used then knock off $100-$150.!!!

Yugo SKS are a somewhat rare variant which features a special muzzle to accommodate a rifle grenade, as well as special sights for launching grenades, and a gas shutoff valve so that you can launch grenades with blanks. Also, since everybody is going to ask, these aren't chrome lined.

I'm surprised people here aren't familiar with them, they're not exactly uncommon.

I should have bought one when they were $300. Of course at the time regular SKS's were selling for $100.
