Bean bag rounds, rubber ball slugs, "distraction rounds" (essentially a bear banger/12guage launched flashbang), 12 guage flares.
A lot of them are available from regular ammo dealers. I get my bear bangers and flares from Canadian Tire. A lot of the other "exotic" loads looked really easy to hand-load, and 12guage is the easiest cartridge on the planet to hand load. For ammo you probably aren't going to stockpile, maybe just fire off a few to a half dozen for sh!ts and giggles, learning how to hand load 12guage is worthwhile. Here's a 12 minute video on the "nail and dowel" method - no specialty tools required.
