Okay got my K31 in the mail today.
First impressions: excellent machining, I've never seen such a well put together milsurp. The magazines are well desinged and easy to detach/insert which is a huge bonus for me as I plan to use this rifle in service rifle matches (sometimes the AR-15 gets boring.) I bought the last in stock magazine at the Calgary Shooting Center so I should be good to go for getting all 10 shots in during the rapid.
The bore in mine looks excellent, better than any Enfield or Mosin I've looked through. Holy mother of god, does it have a nice trigger for a milsurp. A slight bit of creep, but incredibly crisp for a military firearm.
Very well thought out and put together firearm, except for my one issue. The bolt kisses my cheek when I cycle it. I normaly shoot prone and it will probably be worse when I'm in prone. I wear glasses so this is a bit of an issue. I'll see if I can work around it, but it's a bit of a bummer because other than that its perfect.
Range report to come on Saturday. I'm reloading 178 grain A-maxs over Varget with new PRIVI brass.
