I was actually just questioning if I could use large rifle primers instead of large pistol in my high pressure 45 colt loads(getting primer holes on some rounds). Guess I can't.
I switch to magnum primers years ago with the 300 Win Mag. Standard primers were ok when its warm but I used to shoot to -30 and my groups were horrible. Always a flyer for no reason... After switching to magnum primers, my problems went away.
Thanks for the good read, am just about ready to start 22hornet loads and was wandering about the small rifle small pistol primer thing. Thanks again for the info.
