Just thought I would share a few pics of my new toys, I am quite pleased with them and kindaaa wanted to show them off

So incase no one can tell (my phone is not the best at taking pictures) or doesn't know the models they are...
- A HK Mark 23 in .45Auto (brand new)
- A Smith and Wesson model 10-5 in .38Special with a 5" barrel from the 60s, in veryyy nice condition!!! (thanks EE!!!)

A few close up

Here is the Model 10 in an older police or RCMP? holster...it is also in great condition and well made and I like that it holds +6 rounds on it and that is sits lower than a normal belt holster would, has a nice natural draw (for me at least). I also bought a Safariland comp II speedloader for it which I am a big fan of, I find them a lot nicer and easier to use than the HKS ones. I still plan on getting a few more and pouches to carry them.

Here is the Mark 23 in my hands. YES it is a "big" gun, as it has a barrel that is just under 6" long...which in turn it also has a very long sight radius BUT it is not unwieldy. The grip size is just barely larger than a USP 45, as in you won't notice the difference, (and still better than a Glock 21!!!) my 5' 6" girlfriend with much smaller hands can still grip it without issues when using both hands, how anyone who wants to hit anything should be shooting anyways
. It is not that much heavier than a 1911 and you are getting an extremely well made and durable 10+1 (or 12+1 if legal) handgun with an almost 1" longer and threaded barrel. Besides MEN used to carry large and heavy wheel guns (which were longer, heavier and had less capacity) back in the day and did they complain? I still need a holster for this one, soon enough I will have one. (Safariland 6004 converted for a "mid-ride" if anyone is interested)

Lastly here is my "family photo"
of my current gun collection...I have owned MANY guns in the past 5/6 years I have been legally allowed to own firearms, probably a total of 25ish, but I now going for quality over quantity. I still need to get myself a nice 9mm, a .308 rifle and a .22 pistol/rifle combo as well.

Thanks for looking!!!
