Ok so first question. What does everybody use to unscrew the slide tube on a 760/7600? Screwdrivers just bend. Second question. Where can I find a crowning tool in Canada? Third question. What do you guys use to strip varnish off stocks? There's a million strippers out there but I don't know which one to use. Thanks in advance

Make a wrench like this.. it has about an 8 inch handle. The small rod slips in place after the wrench is placed in position. Hold the action firmly in a padded vise.

Define what you want in a 'crowning tool'. I grind my own for use in my lathe. I buy my 60 degree piloted reamer for finishing the crown. (Reamer makers can supply that tool)

Circa 1850 Furniture Stripper.

How do I make that nifty tool? And what do you use for a rod? As far as a crowning tool, just something I can turn with a drill to make a crown. 1850 furniture stripper? Ebert do I find this stuff?

I'll sell you that nifty tool for $35 plus mailing.

Forget your crowning tool, you will screw up far more than fix.
