Did a little trigger work on my sti ranger ii and ria gi 9mm while being bored..and installed a fusion trigger in the sti cause I didnt like the feel of the plastic one. Made the trigger feel much smoother. Both pistols now have a smooth 3lb trigger compared to the 4 and 4.5 they use to be. Used a wheeler trigger pull gage so unsure how accurate it is, but still noticeable regardless.
both pistols had about the same results on paper..
Now I have to get used to the lighter triggers.. was surprised a few times by how quick the fallow up shot came resulting in fliers.. keep in mind I'm no marksman lol
The picture above is 28 quick shots with the ria gi. 20 shots to center mass fallowed by 8 the the head quickly. . 1 flyer from the chest shots ended up left of the head and 1 of the 8 went off paper..others were to the sides but 4 were good
The hand target is how I did with 10 shots with a little less speed.
all in all good shooting for me...
which brings me to my question,
What trigger pull weight do you normally like on your 1911? Or others..
