The Rumour 221 7/8" Saskatchewan Non Typical Whitetail
Here is the big 221" Muzzleloader giant! The deer was offically scored today at the SWF big buck day! The deer was shot on the second last day of the season with a regular Saskatchewan Whitetail tag! and not one of those B.S CWD tags! and was also filmed with the Hunting Canada and Beyond Camera as a bonus! Great deer Corey! Congrats!
Here is a little video of Theresa's 2007 White Tail... It was a great day to say the least, well, other than the wind we have had here for the past many days....
We had seen this guy earlier this season and Theresa kept a close eye on him trying to make it happen... Well, late afternoon Saturday, we had stopped off at one of the land owners to assist in cutting down some tree branches for them and the day slipped by us... Ahhhh, James was thinking we are hunting, not starting a tree trimming business, but these people are great, so what is missing the "witching hour" for one day...
So, with about 30 minutes of light left, we left the land owners home parcel and headed out to our spot.. Now, we noticed the cows were moved into the fields we usually hunt - dahm !!! So, off to put a new game plan into effect and we tried out back-up location for the evening sit and before we could even set up, we sky lined Theresa's Whity... I never even had the optics on him and Theresa was on the stock ! She got up with in 100 yards and dropped him dead in his tracks with one piece of lead !!
Great prarrie deer for these parts, and a great hunt with the wife and our side kick deisel the dog....
For all those wondering, our puppy Deisel comes with us and makes the best truck alarm out there... We carry the shot guns and do some birds with him in the slow times... Bringing him with has really helped out in his training !
