Some "Trench Art" for you

What a waste and bastardization of what was once beautiful wood stocks, that paintwork is the kind of crap that should be left to polymer stocks.

Not pointing the fingers necessarily at the OP only, but still... as a guy who loves woodworking, it is disappointing to see the waste the good looks of natural wood for childish artwork.

Bubba strikes again.

Never thought id hear marksmanship and sks in the same sentence ever.

Learn to shoot one, you may be surprised.

It's fun to put them in the hands of new shooters and given a small amount of training watch them outshoot experienced hunters. :)

Back on topic... At least bedliner wasn't used.

Had one sold it due to 8-10" groups at 50 yards and more then 18" groups at 100 yards off sand bags. I was hitting the target board beside with some shots due to the horrid accuracy of it. All of my other guns shoot less then moa. My sling shot would shoot better then the sks I had also cleaning it after every shooting session is just bs.

Crappy picture, but if you're looking to do another one up, Ill let you have a go at this one.

Not really sure what it is, but its just taking up room in my safe.

wow...wow...wow
i agree with calum on this one. learn to shoot.
wow

Can shoot just fine with any other gun. By just fine I mean less then moa easily. Not my fault the sks are so inconsistent in barrel quality and accuracy. If your shoots good great mine however did not.

Apparently from Calum and Infidellegwelder's posts there is some sort of "special" way to shoot an SKS that is different from any other rifle... in fact, Calum went as far as saying earlier that Semi Auto's require different trigger control.... funny, I figured all rifles only shot one round with each trigger pull regardless of action...

Artwork?? I've seen better looking 'art' inside of a baby's diaper. OP should not be allowed anywhere near a firearm again after what he did to those. I hope you were repeatedly dropped on you head as a child, that might give you an excuse for doing something so heinous.

biggest thing is the stock length its s too small for most the Russians made them this way to account for a variety of users both men and women and to account for heavy winter clothing. I don't shoot surplus often but I've gotten my sks's to shoot fist size and under groups with hand loads
