The memorial cross you have with a RCAF badge attached should be named on the back with his rank and service number.I would assume all the RCAF badges belong as well as all the boxed ww2 medals.He can be looked up online on the commonwealth war graves site for free.

my uncle on my mother's side was kia/mia in a bomber and his memorial is at the runnymeade (sp?) memorial.
we know exactly what happened to him as some remains were recovered many years ago--my mom knew someone at archives and they dug up the article(in german in believe)
even with an interview of the german pilot who shot down the plane he was on.
yes his rank and service # is on the back.
the fenian raid medal does have my grandfather(i believe grandfather--maybe great grandfather) rank and unit on the edge.
i would be willing to share but would not really like to show the name--maybe privately with pics but not on this forum.i could blank out the name.

The First World War medals and the Military Medal would all have been engraved with serial number, rank, Name and Initials as well as their unit.
This will help in a search for information, even if some official government records have been lost there may still be entries and information at the Units they served with by contacting the Units Museum.
The Rosettes on the ribbon bars in question denote there was a bar issued with each one plus the medal.
Mention in despatches is denoted as an Oak Leaf .
