I have a DCRA No.4 rifle in 7.62 with a pretty chopped barrel. Years ago I managed to find another DCRA take off barrel to replace it. The parts have been sitting for years, however I kinda want to get it put together.

Anyone know a good gunsmith that knows the No.4 and can properly put this together?

The gunsmith forum might be a more appropriate place to post but No.4s are kinda a specialty so figured here would be better.

Thanks.

The people that have the correct tools are Reliable gun in Vancouver.
They have the correct tools so do not risk a buggered barrel, or twisted receiver.
A No.4 is not an easy barrel job.

How short is the current barrel? If it’s still decent inside send me a message I’d probably buy the barrel off you

Ill probably hold onto it, it does match the rifle so probably keep it all together. You probably wont want it anyways. Buddy used an angle grinder, and not the precision kind.
