Thanks! Tikka for sure - and agreed it is unique. I saw a fluted barrel once before (in pictures only and advertised briefly here on CGN) but IIRC it was a shorter barrel and fluted to almost the last 2 inches (approx.) I wonder what they called that version; if they had a specific model name? Looks VERY nice!
Looky's Tikka ( formerly mine ) is referred to as the Battue model, there are actually several in Canada.
I had a couple others that were identical, one in 7mm Rem. Mag., and the other in 338 Win. Mag.
Somewhere in my hoard of paperwork is a letter from the factory stating what they are called and apparently were a very popular model in Europe.
