...and the old ones (SAFN, Ljugman, M1 Garand etc) end up in Milsurp, and a fair bit of FN FAL discussion ends up there as well.

I WISH we got more threads on other rifles, but as already mentioned, the M-14s/M-305 is tabout he only real non-restricted and still shootable game in town, so it gets the lion's share of the posts.

My opinion is that a Battle rifle is a .30 cal, semi or selective, rugged battle-proven, reaching easily over 600m.

For the reasons you know, non-restricted rifles are more enjoyable.
These choices seems to narrows to the M14 family, maybe FNAR, and eventually the SCAR17S and XCR-M.

Do you think of others models in these criteria?

i would think these would be prohibited all around as the info i have says they were select fire.

I think you're right, but if someone were to make a semi-auto only version...
