its' not supposed to shoot this well...

If hadn't screwed up the 1.35 group the average would have been a lot less than .802"....

the .730" group was fired by "cccan"

It outshot all my bolt guns today....and with factory ammo....anyone else ever has this problem with a Marlin?

It's a 1976 vintage straight grip 336 with a 2.5-8X Scope Chief on top.

Hi, My Marlin Guns really shoot as well.
444P
Model 444
45-70 Guide gun,
They all will shoot 1.5" or under on the bench @ 100M
The marlins give my bolts a run for the money @ 100 meters

Yeah, but what angle do you have to hold that rifle to hit 200? LOL
Shot my biggest deer with a 30/30 Marlin 336C. Had to sell it. Needed a magnum to shoot deer nowadays. Them Marlins are bein' phased out as deer hides get tougher.:dancingbanana:

Cheers. and don't stand next to me at the range!:sniper:

I've been unfortunately gettin 1.30" groups with my Marlin 30-30 (model 30AS) . I cant understand what I'm doing wrong, I mean I am running flat out while shooting just as my coach says to do, but its not working. I still cant get it to shoot 30 MOA. Go figure
