I would like to cover my pistol grip with a rubber or something to make it more grippy.. currently it is just plastic and so a bit slippery. What are my options? I would prefer a rubber compound of some sort.

Thanks.

You could check out the all rubber ERGO grip or, take a piece of bicycle inner tube and slip it over the standard A1/A/2 style grip.

Bicycle inner tube... that is an interesting ideas that would certainly work.

I'll check out the ERGO grip also.

More than a few people have done stippling to plastic grips such as with glocks. Just take your time and do a proper job.

Also, grip tape is one option, as are the slip-on grips by various manufacturers.

If you're gonna be using a rubber sleeve of some sort, like a Hogue for example, you're better off replacing the entire grip for one that is already rubber over-moulded...ERGO, Hogue, or one of Magpul's enhanced grips. I've messed around with various sleeve options and have found that they all generally move out of place. It becomes quite bothersome to always be readjusting the position of the sleeve...not worth the hassle, in my opinion. Go with a proper grip which already has rubber incorporated into it...you will not be disappointed.
