In laws sent this pic taken from their kitchen window this Friday. Not sure but I think the season is open too. It was tempting to go over as they hung around all day but I just wouldn't have the heart to do it. lol...

I had a couple just like those mess up my Buck Whitetail hunt on Sunday.
They hung around a known whitetail haunt that I was posted near. Of course,
with the moose there, the Bucks simply stayed away. That is hunting. Dave

No Moose , just a nice 4 point Muley buck has been eating our roses all year .

Last few years we always seem to have moose around now and then. Last year a big bull came and visited the North quarter for a while in October too. Didn't get a good pic of him though. Deer numbers are up too which is sure nice to see.

Actually they are two plastic lawn ornaments. I was always going to steal them from my mother inlaw and use them as decoys.

I hear ya. You know darn well if I had been drawn for around there I probably would not have seen a thing. If only I could hunt when ever I wanted for sustenance and cultural reasons.

Think a young bull was pestering mom and she went close to buildings for the day to get away? Heard of that happening before.

Plus there is a freezer less than 50 yards from where it stands. Also a tractor with a front end loader is handy right there too. As I said Just too easy.


And I would be breaking the rules as I have no tag for that zone.
