I had some spare time this weekend and was working on my spare parts 10/22 build. I wanted another compact 10/22 for the quad tool box and to keep in the truck during hunting season for shooting upland game. Most of the parts on this rifle were leftovers from other projects. I just got the folding stock off a member here and had the barrel from another cgn trade. I was able to fit a few survival items (15 rounds, 8 waterproof matches, ferro rod, and sak) in the pistol grip. It shoots suprisingly well since I'm just using a red dot sight. The group shown is 20 shots at 25 yards with cci minimags. I was always skeptical about these folding stocks but now that i've tried it i love it. I'm a lefty and I find it very nice to shoot from the folded position as I can use the buttstock as a forward handle for my right hand. I can actually shoot it quite accurately from this position. Just thought i would share my most recent project.
