Song birds and Seagulls?

I will take my turn at the CPR. I also live in Manitoba - North and West from Russell. We have two house cats and an English Bulldog named "Ivy". All are neutered. The Bulldog is the second dog that the cats have "tuned in" to live together - the cats first sorted things out with the Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler), "Wylie". Most years, at least one or two feral cats are in the bushes around here - thanks to brain dead town people, I think, who think they are "freeing" their cats or just dumping off their kittens "out in the country". I have a heated garage with a 6" hole through an overhead door - so the cats can go in and out as they please. For sure, I have had occasional ferals come in to feed and get warmed up. "MommaCat" and "Boycat" seem to want to bring their kills in here to eat - Boycat was just in with a small bird of some sort. But I have seen Chipmunks, Field Mice, Voles, Flying Squirrels, Bush Rabbit and Common Weasel also brought in here by them. BoyCat has caught a couple Ruffed Grouse over the years. Sooner or later, the coyotes or wolves or Black Bears in the bush will get them, or the neighbour's dogs - until then, I mostly just top up the cat's food dish and water dish each morning. The last house cat that I had put down was age 19 - BoyCat is MommaCat's son - he might be about 5 years old now. MommaCat might be six - she was a feral that showed up at our back door.
 
Seagulls and doing summer fallow in a open tractor was and adventure . Hit many also cutting hay. Learnt as a kid not to grab one with bare hands also. Have a couple cats here that don't like being touched and they get more chipmunks and squirrels then birds . They used to talk about the old Hungarians eating starlings . They caught them in haystacks at night.
