Nice double,Congrats.:)

not my double, i called them in, but where i was setup they tried to circle down wind and my buddy dumped both. i could not see them as they were in a low spot.

the male came out 200 yards to my right (from the west I was facing the south). staying in the low spots and when he stopped at 117 all i could see was ears and than bang, an 80gr pill from my buddies 243 in the throat flipped him over

the female came from about 600 yards down the field to my right.( i was facing directly south, she and the wind coming from the west) when i saw here she was reluctant to come at first and was circling back into the woods but finally got her hooked with a couple squeals from the rabbit. she ran across the field 200yards(east) and was heading in my direction (north). i lost her about 6 times in the scope. when she got to 111 yards all i could see was ears and than I heard bang. an 80gr pill from a 243 blew a hole in her. about a 3" exit wound with lung parts and blood everywhere.

the one that i missed came from my left (east) and was about 150-175 yards out, it was so small it's back was about the same height as the cut off corn. when i first saw it i thought it was a gray fox. took a few shots and could not hit em.

our location was in a cut cornfield, appx 250 yards wide at the narrowest point and is 1000 yards long, terrain is slight rolls and dips through out with wood lots on either side

both were shot within 10 yards of eachother

1st guy shooting a savage 11 in .243 with federal 80gr soft points, second was shooting a kimber in .204 and a remington 788 in 22-250 and i was shooting a savage in .223 with 40gr vmax

using the primos ki yi as a rabbit squaler as well as a primos little dog. with the little dog i just use the white mouth piece and don't use the horn. it has proven to be very effective. once inside 200 yards, i have a squeaker mounted to the forend of my gun and reel them in with that.
