Princess Auto has a 2.5liters sonic cleaner for 119.99$ ....... Any advantage over a vibrating cleaner ? What juice do you use with the sonic ?

Doesn't look anything like as good as the Vevors, but like Leupold, the warranty can't be beat!

I don't use my sonic cleaner for brass but I do use it for guns and gun parts. It's really great for those applications.

I actually pull the slide off my handguns and then stick the frame into the basket upside down. Works great. The "juice" for sonic cleaning has rust inhibitors in it so just need to blow everything off with compressed air and then lube as normal. SOOO much easier than detail cleaning a handgun frame.

2.5 liters is pretty small.
Get bigger if you can, once you start using it you'll be throwing everything in it, tools, car parts, gun parts, garden clippers etc.

I just use dish soap water a d some all-purpose cleaner like simple green, spray nine, fantastik what ever is on sale

IMO, no real "cons" once you start using it & see how much it can do "cleaning" better & without harsh solvents, you wonder why you didn't get one sooner. Cheers.

I have one. Didnt see improve over just a jar with lemi shine and dish soap. Shaking the cases for a min. I just use it for parts and carbs now.

I have a wet tumbler that I use for brass now.

What is lemi shine ?
Lemi shine is a citrus based dishwasher booster that really helps get brass shiny. You only need a tiny bit (like a scoop of a 9mm case) otherwise it will leech the copper from the brass and turn it red. They also make a rinse aid that works extremely well. You only need a squirt.

Thank you.
I've never heard of that particular product.

Basically, citrus acid.

But honestly 2.5L is too small to be any use. Might be able to do 50 cases and a weed wacker carb.

I had a 2.5L ( 99$ ) and then got a 3L (130$ ) and wish I gotten something bigger ( 6L ) As it barely deep enough for a lawn tractor carb.

Wet tumble stainless steel pins, dish soap, citric acid. 1 hour . Shiny brass. A few friends with sonics, have asked for me to clean their brass. I do it in exchange for annealing.
THIS IS THE WAY!
