Well, a Thumbler's Tumbler isn't a sonic cleaner. It's a converted rock tumbler.

In my (limited) experience, it will get your brass far cleaner than reasonably priced sonic cleaner.

You dry the cases in a towel. If you want them dried quickly, you spend an additional $60 on a food dehydrator. If you don't care about speed, you let them dry overnight.

If drying in an oven preheat the oven then turn it off and add your brass.
Spot temperatures can far exceed 200F while the oven is preheating.
This can damage your brass and cause potential problems.
Even 350 degrees is safe but as stated above only in an oven that is turned off.

I put my cases mouth down in used pistol bullet trays found at the range, if your rinse is hot it does not take long at all, if they are touching while drying they will have water marks!

I am a strong advocate on stainless steel tumbling.

I wasted money on an ultra sonic and Hours of my time.

Yes it does get clean But it doesn't leave It shiny.

I use my thumbler and clean 5 lbs of brass in 1.5 hours. Before it took me half a pound and the same time for my ultrasonic.

Go with the wet tumble. You'll thank me for it.

I leave my brass on a towel and let it dry over night.
