At looong last, I found the CZ-75 I've been looking for for so long.
I wanted the original round triggerguard look but with a better wearing finish than the more often encountered black lacker.
This one is from a friend. Many years ago, I helped him find and buy this gun but i had him promise me he would tell me first if he ever wanted to sell it.
My friend happens to be a southpaw and he has been looking for an ambidextrous CZ lately. He's focusing on an SP-01.
So he sold it to me.
He brought it this week-end to let me check it and take pics. Enjoy.

I much prefer the one taken without flash: it better renders the warm glow of that satin nickel.
When it finally lands here, I'll try a series with some tenting material and lighting techniques, just for fun.
To be continued...

That's beautiful. I recently picked up a Pre B 75 as well, with a blued finish. The satin nickel is very nice. Can you recommend a place that does that finish?

Unfortunately, I really don't know... This one is an early factory finish from CZ, probably from the period when they were granted entry in the USA and tried to catch the American shooters' fancy.
Anyway, I just happen to like that option :D
I've heard about a Teflon-impregnated electroless nickel finish. I think it's the same firm that offered the Roguard protective coatings.
Maybe you should have a little Google search on this one.
Good luck!

It is a true beauti of CZ guns, I personal like the round trigger guard instead of mine is a square one. Great buy!

This is a earlier factory finish and the way that they did the satin nickel is better than just gloss nickel finish and is very hard and durable.

Very nice. I didn't know that CZ offered the nickel on the Pre B models, so I thought that you had it refinished. Thanks for the link. Let's see more pics. :)

Very nice pistol! That is a beauty.

I recently bought a preB CZ75 as well, but it is the blued (looks parkerized actually). I can't wait to put some rounds through it.

Congrats on the CZ and looking forward to more pictures.
