I'm thinking that I like the JAE better than the AICS. I say that because I had and AICS and have a JAE.
They are both great, but the JAE is over molded with plastic where the AI has screw on panels.
Not that I can actually sense it, but I think the over molded plastic acts as a vibration dampener.
There are other reasons though...
Adjustable cheek piece - without Allen key.
Quick detach check piece option
Accessorized like crazy.
Choice of a gazillion colors
Inserted at recoil lug.
Choice of rails.... etc.

Dont get me wrong though, I like them both.
