Sooooo RPD ANYONE!?!?!??

Claven is correct. The RCMP are very likely loathe to approve a belt fed, non restricted firearm in the cheapest and most widely available surplus rifle round in the country, but the law is clear. However as interested as I am to order one, I'd like to see the existence of an FRT number first before liquidating that kind of cash.

This sure would look good in the safe next to my other belt feds. :)

I will buy one but right now can't afford it. I hope they continue to bring them in and not just a short period of supply sort of deal.

Anyone know if they will be available for awhile or not?

Armseast doesn't require a deposit to pre-order. Just select EMT as the payment method if you are uncomfortable with a CC number being given. They will call you to pay when the shipment arrives :)

DSA/Wiselite is a small company that builds only as RPD kits are on-hand. I don't expect them to be VZ58-ish in availability. More like TNW M1919, I suspect.

I'm sure some of them dropped to their knees and yelled NOOOOO! When the CZ 858 variants got their frt's too. Unfortunately for the bed wetters - non restricted is non restricted. They can't just ban sh!t based on how the sight of it makes an emotionally unstable leftist soccer mom feel. Thank God :) These things are damn cool and I want.

Does anyone know what the "original field/deployment kit" is for sure? I know someone posted 2 drums and belts.....

Man, now I REALLY need that job bonus I was promised.......:D

original field/deployment kit which includes 2-100 Rnd. drums with pouches,2-belts,one soft carry bag,one sling, one cleaning rod,one manual, and one cleaning kit.Hardcase included.

:)

These are going to Rock! I can see my supply of 7.62x39 taking a hit when I get one of these :)

Yeah well, just wait till Justin is PM. That's exactly what will be happening.

Not that it matters beings the law is pretty clear, but how would we or LE spot the difference between a pre/post 45 belt?
Us? Date codes on the belt possibly. If they're unmarked then there is no way to tell, so have fun.

LE? They don't need to tell. They'll be arresting you anyways and confiscating all of your "illegal assault machine guns" until you can prove in court some two years and $20,000 later that your gear is in fact legal (or was, till Justin made it not).

Yeah I'm a bit of a pessimist today, sorry guys.

You sound as if you have access to the frt, check the type 81 for us!!!

I have access to the FRT. The Firearms Reference Table (FRT) is a list of PUBLISHED Firearms Reference Numbers (FRN). If the CFO is classifying a firearm, it will get an FRN. When classification is completed, the FRN will be published for those who have FRT access to see.

When they publish it, I'm sure someone will post it.
