Sordin Hearing Protection, Made in Sweden

When I was working at an indoor range, I was using "Sordin High"s and they were just barely did the job standing next to .44 Mag, .454 Casull, and the SG-43 Goryunov...

Those stupid Haenel 10" AR's still rattled my brain though...

Anything less than the Sordin High's wouldn't have provided enough protection for being in that environment 10-12 hours a day.

For shooting magnum calibers indoor, Sordin recommends "double plug" - use of both ear muffs and ear plugs.

Checking it now—this is exactly what I need. I’ve started paying more attention to ear health by using ear protection, scheduling ear wax removal services, and taking other simple preventive steps. It’s surprising how small habits like these can help avoid a lot of future issues. Better to stay on top of it now than deal with bigger problems down the road. Honestly, I wish I had started doing this sooner.

For any indoor ranges and any ear muffs, I would highly recommend doubling up...
Understanding the ratings and stuff can get confusing, it's just not worth the risk.
It also helps that Sordins (and a few of the other electric muffs) do a good job at isolating voice and sending it loud enough through the ear muff layer so that it's actually clearer than just listening through ear plugs.
