growing up, I have seen alot of different things done with old milsurps.
Not a lot of people had extra cash on hand so they used what they had or could afford.
there certainly wasnt alot of After market parts available.
with the internet and Massive on line parts, you Now can build almost anything.
I like the "folk Art" creativity on these old rifles. It speaks of the past and how things were really done back in the day.
A true part of Gun history.
About as classy as that bubba'd LE with the metal surfaces all polished down to bare metal here on EE.
