Source for 215 gn .303 bullets

I know Woodleigh bullets are available (at about $39/50), but are there any other options for jacketed bullets (.312) in that weight, and who carries them?

You could also try some 220 grain bullets made for .308 diameter rifles. They might also be hard to find, but could work OK in your rifle, and would be set up for approximately the same velocity range.

None of the major bullet makers make a 215. A 215 was used in W.W. I No. 1 rifles, but not in the No. 4.
You should slug the barrel first too. Hawk's are .311"
 
I tried the .308 dia. 220 gr. Hornady RN in my .303 and they shoot very well.
Groups in or around an inch which I found suprising, far better than anticipated or expected.
This is not to say that results would be similar with other 303s, but my Ruger #1 handled them with good enough results to hunt with...
 
I just checked WSS, no luck. Sierra, Hornady, and Remington bullets all kinda maxed out at 180g. The Hornady 174g RN IL did look pretty interesting though. That would make a killer hunting round for the Enfield and Mosin.

At the 210g+ weight, wouldn't a gas checked cast bullet give the same performance? I'm sure you could do 2200fps with cast.

Other sources you could check: Marstar's frontier plated bullets, Berry's bullets, cast bullet makers. Maybe ask reloaders.ca or henry nierychlo if they have any suggestions for a custom order.

I have some Bullet Barn 200gn gas check lead bullets, but wanted to see if I could find something jacketed that matches the old Mk VI bullet for my MLE and Ross Mk II.

Sounding like options are limited, but thought I'd at put it out there.
