Source for 8MM Mauser Stripper Clips?

I've only used stripper clips in my SKS rifle and although it takes getting used to, you can load it up pretty quick when you get good at it. Wondering if any of these old 8MM Mauser stripper clips are floating around or if there are newly manufactured ones.

I've tracked down almost every other accessory for my M48, might as well find some stripper clips for it too :cool:
 
There is always some of them on gun shows in both Ancaster and Orangeville.I'm sure other shows have them too.
When looking bring empty 8x57 case with you(5 are even better).Some will work better than others.
 
They pop up on the EE, I bought most of mine from the States. Numrich, or Liberty Tree most likely. Up here Tradex, and Marstar often have Mauser stuff. Have you tried loading a Mauser with stripper clips? It's as smooth as the first beer after a long day. Practically feed themselves. Or so its been for me on the k98's I've done it on.

Haven't shot them yet, new to the caliber. I have a VZ24 and an M48 which I cleaned up and just acquired some ammo, haven't had time to hit the range yet. Will try to do that today or tomorrow. How's the recoil, similar to 7.62x54r in a Mosin?
