Hello everybody, was curious where most of you purchased your bullet molds for your cast reloading? I purchased my 245gr .44 and my 158gr .358 molds directly from Lyman. Basically I wanna try to find a source domestically so I don't have the hassle of the extra waiting and shipping. I appreciate any info u guys can give me!!

Thanks
Matt

I dont know of a canadian ssource.
I get my moulds from NOE or Mihec
If they are in stock the shipping isnt too bad 5 days to two weeks depending on curcumstances.
If it is a group buy it can take up to a year somtimes.

Wholesale Sports, if they can be bothered to keep them in stock.

Dude, yer just another of a long string of guys that thinks they are gonna find a Canadian source for US made stuff.

Unless you have a dealer that stocks them near you (which, I figure you'd know about already) you get to deal with shipping costs and wait times. Welcome to reality.

Check out the suppliers that are vendors on Castboolits. I bought a NOE mold from the over runs that they sold off after a group buy, and it's a pretty nice bit of kit.
Heard nothing but good things about the others, too.

But mainly I buy molds at gun shows, where I can see them and negotiate price if I am so inclined.

Cheers

Well I first started buying lee molds before all the mayham in the states locally. I also thought it was absurd to buy $100+ molds. Then I got one and have more of them then my lees lol. Noe and Mihec are the two I stick with. There is also accurate molds. And sharpshooter if your looking for buckshot molds.

Try Accurate Molds. Good website. Excellent quality, extensive pattern variety, fair prices. From the time I drop a cheque in the mail to getting a mold is usually less than a month and it will be made to my specs regarding diameters etc.. NOE moulds are good too if they have a particular mould on the shelf. Sometimes the wait time for them to organize enough buyers to make tooling up for a new mould profitable can be a bit long. If you want one fast and they don't have spares in stock I would look elsewhere. I doubt I'll ever order any more moulds from anyone but Accurate Molds. The owner, Tom, is very knowledgeable so if you think you need advice in placing your order he's very helpful.
