My dad has a couple of rifles in each caliber, and while I've got lots of brass, I can't find anything in the way of bullets. Supposedly Speer had one (75gr Hor-Cor), and Hornady's manual shows one as well (60gr #2510)

Anyone have a clue who might have either?

Barring that, gas checked cast I guess?

I have purchased Hornady 60gr #2510 bullets from Higginsons Powder for my wife's 25-20 rifle, not sure if they are in stock right at this moment but maybe worth a phone call to see if they have some on hand.

Due to it being somewhat uncommon I'd call up dealers. Ellwood Epps tends to carry a lot of oddball stuff so I'd give them a shot.
I did a quick search for cast and all I could find was bullet barn who sells .50gr cast plain base pistol bullets at .251" which are too small for your needs.
Lyman makes a 65gr mould that takes gas checks. Do you cast yourself or are you looking for retail cast bullets? If you don't cast the Lyman mould doesn't help unless you can find someone to cast them.

I was able to find some on the EE here.
These were Hornady 60gr jacketed flat point, #2510.
Haven't tried 'em don't know how well they will do.

I got a bunch of 60 gn Horn and some 70 gn Speer from WSS a while ago, don't know what their current stock is. I use Horn 117 gn RN in the 25-35, got them from WSS as well. Can't see there being a run on these oddball babies, so they may still have some.

I can't believe I missed this the first time:
Bullet Barn makes 85gr .259" cast bullets; $26/200.
So they do make bullets for the cartridges in question.

If you can't find jacketed you can always go cast.

I checked my LGS yesterday out of curiosity while getting some .224" bullets and all the 25 cal stuff was pointed for cartridges like .25-06 or .257 Roberts. Nothing for a tube fed gun.

I have some of the Bullet Barn lead.
As you noted, it's .259 caliber. It doesn't fit very well as is into the cases.
I ended up buying a .258 sizer to push them through, and also have to prep the cases very carefully or I end up with crunched cases and/or lead shavings.
I seem to have everything setup ok now but those particular bullets may be a fussy combination.
