Source for Metric Screws

Does anyone know of a source for metric screws, preferably here in Canada? I'd like to get some 3.5 x .6 x 6mm. socket-head (hex drive) cap screws. These would be to replace some slot-head screws of the same size in some scope mounts.

Small screws like this are not easy to find, most industrial distributors e..g Fastenal carry larger sizes.

Try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton, you may need to call or e-mail them since their website doesn't really list individual products. If you follow their link to Lyman then search for "screw" you will see some kits that may have what you need.

Hobby shops. Most of the R/C vehicles out there use small metric fasteners.

Fastenal has been my go to for many years for tractor/implement related stuff and they just happen to have what you're looking for.

My local Canadian Tire and Home Hardware AND Home Depot carry those types of metric bolts in parts bins.

Yes, great suggestion. Your link took me to the exact screws I'm looking for. Only one problem: They've informed me that they don't ship to Canadian buyers if the order is for personal use. I would have to order for either a business or school.

Check your yellow pages for machinery and tooling suppliers/retailers.

Home Hardware has been my go to for many years. No I use Fastenal, HD Supply (Brafasco), McMaster Carr or Brownells.

if you’re in the lower mainland - pacific fasteners are the guys to go to. They will likely only have it in stainless...
