i was checking out the new slug gun .it looks pretty cool but seems a bit pricey thy got the right idea with the heavyer barrel and three inch chamber .will have to wait till i can get my hands on one to see how thy feel DUTCH

Looks like a nice site Sako, but I did notice that for your shotguns, the pics don't come up, just boxes in the upper left corner of the field with little x's in them. Quick questions: 1. I don't see Ithaca on your list of shotguns for sale, and 2. If the Ithaca USA site says $859.00 USD, is that + 20 or 30% for exchange? I might be interested in a featherweight 12 ga. with a 28" barrel.

They are now made in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Last month I was at a sport show in Ohio and Ithaca Gun Company was set up there with about 40 guns. VERY nice and the guys and gals working the booth were super! They now make a 28 ga Featherlight in three grades.
"A" $999, "AA" $1,589 and "AAA" $3,499. Absolutely Beautiful!!

Well, I stand corrected and happily so! :dancingbanana:Nice to see the old name on new guns, just as long as the quality is there! Can't go wrong with a Model 37 in 20ga or 16ga for bunny hunting!:D

1200 bucks for a pump is still a bit much to me. My buddy used to shoot one when he was younger that he bought for like 200 bucks.

I used to shoot one for trap and skeet that I bought for similar, and it would surprise you if your finger was anywhere near the trigger when you cycled the action. This 'slam-fire' I heard was caused by a worn-out spring (?) that was not functioning properly after 40-50 years of use. Still the nicest pump I've ever shot, and I would buy another in a second.

No sir, no worn out spring there. That was how they were designed to work from square one. You can't wear an Ithaca out.
