Source for P14 Stock

Is there such a thing as stocks for P14s aound anywhere?

Does anyone know anything about the restocks of the rebuild programs?

I have a ERA with nice steel but horrible wood that I would like to bring back to respectability.

I have seen some nice P-14/M1917 stocks on Ebay. Usually the Ebay stocks are M1917's.

There was a decent P-14 stock on Ebay.ca a few months ago. It was listed as a 'Remington military stock'

Lots of these were sporterised over the years, and the odd original stock was saved after the project was done.

Perhaps a WTB listing on the EE?

Are you looking for an original P-14 stock. Do you want a reg p-17 type stock or the p-14 fat boy stock? Boyd's has resumed making the p-17 stocks that will fit with some work as they a Vitural inletted.

originals are runing in the $200 USD range.

I'ld love to get one of the fat boy stocks.
I was looking at the Boyds website. I think they are only advertising hand guards for P17 that I could find.

Lou, it's bad. I think it is way beyond salvage or re-incarnation.

funny last week, they had stocks up.....

I just looked at a P14 today that had a cracked stock from the edges of the trigger guard adn around the back, the guy said it was a dry split and is common with walnut. Looks easily repairable. you may want to fix what you have, lets see a pic of the crack.
