Source for Redding or Forster competition die set .308 Win?

Hi Guys,

Seems Brownells is forever on backorder and Midway has it, but won't sell to Canada. I also ordered many months ago directly from Forster, but they placed me in perpetual backorder Limbo. Do we have any Canadian retailers who have either Forster or Redding .308 competition (micrometer seating, neck sizing) 3 die sets for sale? I'll need bushings too.

Price is not my concern, getting the dies in time for this summer's shooting season is.

Are you talking about Brownells or Sinclair (division of Brownells)? It took about 4 weeks to get Forster dies in .223 from Sinclair. You can order dies directly from Forster but you'll pay more money, they encourage you to buy from their retailers and only buy direct from them as a last resort. I've ordered stuff directly from Forster and have had no issues with prompt delivery.

I got mine from Sinclair,(Redding Type S Match Neck Die set).. no issues.

I got mine from Jerry mystic precision had to wait about a month due to back order. Forster makes a great product.

My Forster order is 6 months old now. I'm sure they've forgotten me.

Order direct from Redding, have them air mail it to you, be at your doorstep in 5 days.

Did you call or email them with a staus update on your order? Just curious as I have ordered three or four times from Forster in the last six months and I've received everything within a couple of week's of ordering.

My first order went through perfect. My second order went nowhere. I got a polite e-mail saying they would help me when they got cought-up. My second call one month later said they have me on the list and will get to me in time. They specifically said that I don't have to keep calling.

They forgot me.
