Hi everyone..

First off i apologize for posting this again.. i did a search but what i found was not useful..

I just purchased and received a S&W 686 4.2" and now want to get some Safariland Comp III speed loaders for IDPA purposes... but it appears that they are difficult to find here in Canada.. I know that Brownells has them but wont ship them to Canada... i have also found them at Dillion precision but they wont ship to Canada... Ok i am seeing a pattern here...WTF!!!!!!

So where can i get some of these. I only want about 4 or 5 and one pouch...

I have heard that R. Nicholls sells them but only to LEOs... great.. what about the rest of us..

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Thanks

RDG..

PS.. here is a pic of the gun.. and those speed loaders are on loan from a friend...and he needs them back..:(

R Nicholls is where I spent my money. They're big on supplying LE. They automatically expedite via Purolator I think, and the shipping brough the total to $60 for 3 speedloaders...

Hey BuddyBoy....
Thanks for the heads up.. for some reason i thought Brownells would not ship them to Canada...But i did order some from them last night and have not received the dreaded can't ship email yet.. LOL.. Thanks again...

I got the comp II's from Brownells 3 months ago with no issues.

Brownells cancelled my order!!!!

Well...Here it is..

Got an email this afternoon that Brownells has cancelled my order due to "contractual agreement with the manufacturer"...

So i suppose the Safariland comp III speedloaders for the L frame S&W are not to be sold out of the USA..

I am so tired of this stuff when it comes to shooting handguns in Canada...

Contact Safariland and ask them who their Canadian distributor is... and tell them you story how you can't find anyone in Canada that will sell them to you...

Safariland's distributor in Canada is R.Nichols.

If voiced by displeasure with Safariland with their choice of a company that provides horrible service and doesn't really "distribute" or stock Safariland, everything I've wanted has been special order and could take up to 6 months to get if they feel like ordering it.

And Safariland won't allow american dealers to sell in Nichols territory.

Try Target Sports. I think I saw some there a couple of weeks ago.

I am so tired of all this stuff.... its like :bangHead:

I sent emails to R Nicolls...as well as the other LEO supplier.. and no answer yet.. I doubt they will care if someone wants to buy 5 or 6 speedloaders when they deal with police departments (large group orders)...

Its almost enough to get a guy to give up competitive shooting.. NOT!!!!!
