Hello:

I was wondering if anyone would be able to direct me to any sources where I might be able to purchase the two screws for the barrel bands on a Savage Made Lee Enfield No. 4 Mark I* rifle.

Part #41 - Swivel Band Screw and

Part #43 - Upper Band Screw

As per the parts diagram at the following URL: http://www.americanrifleman.org/Webcontent/pdf/2010-2/201022517922-leeenfexview.pdf

I have already placed an ad in the Exchange forums; I was just wondering if any retailer would carry these items. They are the final two pieces needed (I think) to restoring my grandfather's sporterized rifle back to its original state.m (http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=628766)

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer me.

Thank you to everyone for ther assistance. I will hopefully be able to get this long running project finished.

Have a nice day.

2BA panhead or cheesehead (I have seen both) is what you want. I have altered stock ones for this purpose, and could even supply them but the overheads across the Atlantic are probably uneconomic.

All remaining Savage made rifles, parts and tooling got shipped to Long Branch when the Savage contract ended. Savage marked rifles were issued to CF units and the parts went into bins. Screws weren't marked anyway.
