Source for Tin?

An knowledge regarding a source for tin (100 Sn, 70/30 Sn/Pb, or even 50/50 Sn/Pb) in the Calgary area?

Or perhaps a reasonably priced mail order place?

i'm not sure if they have Trane suppliers (hvac) in alberta, but if they do and they sell to the public, the have 95/5 solder for $12 / 1 lb roll.

Was just under $20/lb last time I got some from Canada Metal near 58th ave and 11th st SE.

I'd love to hear about a better source.

That is a good price already, unlikely to find it cheaper.

Any leadless solder is 95%+ tin

at that price better just buy berry plated bullets or similar.....

Go to Value Village,Goodwill or a Sally Ann and look for Pewter items. Usually about 95% tin with the remaining being copper, antimony and lead.
