Hey everybody,

A friend was kind enough to pass along to me 2 Tokarev TT-33 Pistols. I've noticed that I'm missing some parts: a firing pin spring, and a firing pin Retaining Pin (see picture). I'm having an incredible amount of difficult finding the latter part. Does anyone know a reputable source for these parts? I'd love to take my friend shooting with them as a X-mas gift!

Cheers,
Scruffy

Buy another parts gun. Then you have the next piece that breaks too. You can get one for under 225 as a package lol..

To new it would seem wasteful to spend much money on individual parts. Or btw the two pistols you have it's likely you could mix/match parts to have a full pistol is it's two different parts broken.

Send me your address, I'll mail one out to you. A nice fellow here sold me 3 of them, and I can certainly spare one for you.

One thing, I've been told dry firing is the cause of the retaining pin fracturing. I don't know if that's true, but I've been using a snap cap ever since.

WAIT!!! Sorry, I just checked and what I have are the TradeEx ones, I only have one proper spare. I can send you a couple of those- they do work in a pinch. Again, sorry to get your hopes up like that!

Too loose – I bought two and none fit - still looking for an original one - the one I found in ebay was around $50 - just too much :(

BTT

Still looking for any original or effective Pins, seems everybody who has them only has the Trade Ex pins which allegedly do not fit properly in the TT-33's

Sorry. I posted the wrong website for about 5 minutes before I corrected it. I meant Apex.

Thanks for the correction!

It doesn't look like they have the Pin alone listed, but I see lots of parts that people have been looking for in this thread. For those looking they also have a complete slide which includes the pins for $350
