source of .243 once fired??

Good brass treated well will last from 20-40 firings or sometimes even more. It is one of your cheapest reloading components. Why would you want to cheap out and use brass that has already been messed up with another gun's chamber?

.243 isn't as popular as it once was. For the cost you're probably better to buy new, for what you will save is negligable.

Doubt you'll find any once fired .243 brass. At a gun show, maybe.
New brass is neither expensive nor hard to find. Shooter's Choice, in Waterloo, wants $29.95 per 50 for new Remington brass.
