Hi,

I’m looking for two sets of rings for the 527 carbines and would prefer Talley, Leupold, Warne, or Burris in medium height. Hunting scopes such as the 1.5-5 and 2-7 Leupold will be what is being mounted and my rifles have the new bolt knob which supports lower mounting.

If you know of a Canadian dealer with some in stock, please let me know. Any of the brands listed will do nicely so it comes down to price and availability.

I have an adaptor allowing me to use normal rings. It does raise the scope a bit. Forget the manufacturer but the US seller of them will ship them to Canada. I think it was 100-150$

This causes a second issue of scope being too high, or stock too low, but with such a small action and "heavy" barrel (I have varmint), the height is required to clear scope bell.

Ultimately I'll probably get a shotgun fitter to install an adjustable comb. Surprisingly good value for professional jobs. 300-350$
 
Western Gun Parts in Edmonton carries the Warne rings. Make sure you have the model number when you call. Also Prophet River used to have the Talley's as well. Not sure if they still stock them.
