After checking some info on the norc M305 i came to the conclusion i should upgrade stock op rod spring to prevent #### from falling off.

Where can one go about obtaining a USGI op rod spring ?

Brownells, you should also upgrade the spring guide aswell, this will prevent your balls from shriveling up...

You can order upgraded springs directly form Wolff, even a complete spring kit for the M14.

Watch out for the Wolff ejector and extractor spring if you gut out your bolt and swap them; the chicom bolts can be finicky about those. My 2007 Norc M-14S' bolt won't go to battery on a round with Wolff springs in it !

In my experience, if you shoot a lot of 150gn, don't go to an overpower spring, just get the standard weight. The SAI spring Brownells sells is decent.

That is interesting, these same Wolff springs work fine in my 2010 Norc M305.

I wonder what the difference could be? Are you sure the ejector was not stuck in some way, or wedged somehow by the extractor during installation?

Nope,

The ejector is not stuck. It works properly altough It's stiffer than it used to be.
