I have been having a large problem sourcing available ammunition and am looking for suggestions. This is what I'm after,
Match grade .308 168g BTHP (Federal or Winchester) apprx 1500rnds.(same lot)
.223 target ammunition (55-65g) any brand/flavour at this point for apprx 4000rnds

My only contact for the .308 has had my order on backorder since January, and I was just notified that it probably couldn't be filled until mid/late 2009 and has me quite upset. I understand there is a shortage, however I feel we are getting the run around from this company.
For legal reasons, reloading is not an option.

You will have to look around but welcome to the world we live in. If you want something, you need to order it now. There is a war on, problems with exporting out of the US and variable demand in Canada. Feast or famine so to speak.

I suggest you contact some of the supporting dealers for the website and see if they can help. Likely given the nature of importation of ammo ie it is done in bulk once or twice a year, you may have to wait.
