Is there a sourse for a proper sling for a No.4MKI 50 LB?Where they dated or marked? Thanx Harold

Depends where you are. I always see this type of item at the HMCS show in Ancaster. I'm reasonably sure I have also seen them at Woodstock, Pickering, and Orangeville.

Slings are fairly common at gun shows. Marstar only has black nylon Lee-Enfield style slings. $14.95 each!! Mind you, Gunparts wants $13.60US for an unmarked sling. $20.95US for a marked sling(maker and date). I wouldn't part with $20US for an Enfield sling.

Maybe not exactly correct for the LB, however, TradeExcanada has a great deal on enfield slings with a cleaning kit included.
