Let's all make sure that this never happen in Canada

I Guess Antique cartridge revolvers are already registered.
That country is a scary place to live gangs run around with AK 47s killing hard working farmers and people at will while the police round up all the muzzle loader collectors
.

I thought that they already had to register them. I have a 5 guage muzzle loading rifle apparently from South Africa and it has a number stamped into the barrel (which does not appear to be from the manufacturer)

cheers mooncoon

Yes, try curbing your fvcking limitless supply of criminals instead of antique collectors, and hunters. I quess it is far easier to go after the people they dont have to work to get at. This new law will mean all gun crimes and murders will stop in S.A. . This looks pre designed for total control by the roving gangs/government.

What a bunch of buffoons. If that is the response of the authorities of South Africa to their outrageous crime rate, then they have completely lost all touch with reality. The citizens need to round up the whole, barking-mad, bunch and send them off to Dr. Phil for some therapy sessions.
