South African surplus .308

I finally got around to getting some of the SA .308 surplus through my M14. I wasn't overly impressed. The tightest I could get the groups at 50m was about 2-2.5 inches. How has everyone else found it?

about 1-1.5" at 100m....
try Norinco ammo...I`m getting groups less than 1"...at 100m....

Could someone contact me with the address of the mfgr of this 308 surplus ammo. I order a case today, however, need to fill out the Form 6 INA to import it into the US when I attend the MGM Ironman. I'd like to get the documentation to the BATF asap.

Wow.... sounds like it fits my budget I'd buy a case at those prices!!

Is it brass case or steel? Corrosive? Boxer primed (Not holdin' my breath)?

I get 2 inch groups with it when I do my part. doesn't matter if it is out of my scoped LTR from prone, or from my M10B2 with irons.

It is berdan primed, but noncorrosive. I prefer shooting it to norinco, but would prefer that I could reload the brass as it looks like good brass.

It seems to shoot very well from my scoped M14S......no complaints......1" group at 100M with 3 holes touching was my best result so far.

You're still probably paying less than some people. Districorp was amongst the absolute cheapest sources of SA. Though, that shouldn't really come as a surprise...

Districorp has very reasonable prices on ammo, unfortunately they have no control on the shipping fees. They are the ones I order bulk from.

I was just using the Chrono and did not really get any accuracy tests.... just sharing the info that I have. The SA Surp is VERY uniform!!!!!!!!!!!! Just alittle hotter load than Fed GMM (millitary vs. civi).
