What we should be looking for is the portugiess ammo. Now that stuff would get me excited. As for this South African stuff I hated it as I found it shot as bad or worse than the IVI stuff and it wasn't even boxer primed. That being said, if it was less then 50 cents a round I probaly would break down and buy some.

No longer approved as of Jan. I am discussing this very issue with NRCAN at the moment.

How about Lithuanian 308? I don't have a manufacturer ... anyone know if it's approved? Good quality? (308 Win (7.62x51mm) M80 146gr FMJBT Lithuanian ammo 200rd Battlepack M80)

Any thoughts on the quality of Prvi Partizan .308 145 gr. Full Metal Jacket Boattail bullet (FMJBT)?

Wait, how does NRCAN delist ammo???

I keep hearing about this outfit so now I gotta know: Who governs this mickey mouse club anyways? How are they able to perpetrate this nonsense? What the f**k is their problem? Who is in charge of these people? What can I as a taxpayer do to help get them all fired!!!???

Someone please explain:mad:.

I really like the SA surplus stuff.

I've shot spanish, portugese, SA and Israeli surplus.

The israeli stuff was the worst IMO. I suspect it is because they reload their brass (and recycle it many times.

The Spanish and Portugese was both good.

The SA stuff though, strangely, will shoot a quarter at 100 yds.

NRCAN is really trying hard to kill our Milsurp sport it seems. J996 has good questions, Who is in charge and how can we get them to stop this crap? Cheap Milsurp ammo is a thing of the past unless things change drastically at NRCAN!
