south van - where to shoot?

Heya,

Looking to go out plinking for the first time and was hoping to do it on some crown land, both firearms are unrestricted and registered of course ... the only problem is I have no idea where to go around these parts (South Vancouver).

all I need is my PAL and registration information for the arms correct?

I'm going to be using a 10/22 and remington 870 (slugs and some 00 buck) ... are there rules concerning what type of shot/slugs I can use material wise on crown land?

anyone have any recommendations?

Go up above Davis Lake in Mission. You go North on Sylvester Road from Lougheed Hwy for about 11km until the road turns from paved to gravel. Then drive past the lake (a provincial park) and find yourself a spot to shoot. Lots of guys go up there to shoot and there are 1000's of little spots to shoot in the area. There is a tiny provincial park that contains Davis Lake which you are not allowed to shoot in. Everywhere else is legal.
